When is the 2018 World Cup?
The 21st World Cup takes place in Russia from the 14th of June to the 15th of July 2018.
There will be 32 teams all competing for international football`s biggest prize, hoping to take it from current champions Germany.
12 venues from 11 cities will host games across Russia, with the final taking place at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
The cities involved are as follows: Kaliningrad, Kazan, Krasnodar, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Saint Petersburg, Samara, Saransk, Sochi, Volgograd, Yaroslavl, and Yekaterinburg.
How can I get tickets?
First of all you will need to create a Fan ID by visiting the dedicated website, which is a document that all spectators need to gain access to the World Cup stadiums.
The application process is broken down into three phases; sales phase 1, 2 and the last minute sales phase.
These sections are split into random selection draws and then a first come first served sale.
The first phase is now over, but you can still apply for tickets in the draw which begins on the 5th of December, or the first come first served tickets which go on sale on the 13th of March next year.
If you miss out on all of these dates, there will be a final sale on the 18th of April.
