When is the best time to practice yoga?
Try to practice yoga at the same time every day, so that persistence can form a kind of self-discipline and produce the greatest effect. So please choose a time that is neither rushed nor disturbed. The best practice time is early morning and early night.
Morning is when your brain is awake and alert, but your muscles may be a little stiff. Therefore, morning exercises can relax the rigid muscles well and prepare your brain and body for the new day.
At night, your body is very convenient and more flexible, but at this time your brain may already be very tired. Exercise at night can stretch the body well and release the stress and tension that comes with the day.
However, no matter which time of day you choose to practice yoga, you can rejuvenate and calm your body and brain. Experiment to see which time you prefer, or which time is more suitable for your schedule or season (it may be easier to get up early in summer).
You may not need to adjust the content of the exercises according to the changing seasons. For example, Sithali is designed for practice in hot weather. You may also find that by listening to the signals from your body in the cold and kindly, you will quickly discover which posture, practice content and time are more suitable for you. This will help you get the most benefit from the practice.
Do not eat directly before the exercise, fast for three to four hours after a full meal, and one to two hours after a snack before starting the exercise.
